Places to Stay....
Finally, finally! The moment we have all been waiting for! Let us tell you about the hotels we have found for you to stay at during your visit here with us.
The first one we recommend is the Comfort Suites in Evergreen, Colorado. This hotel is quite lovely and sits nestled in the foothills. A 7 MINUTE DRIVE to the wedding venue! The rate we have arranged for here is $119 per night. This rate reflects 2 adults (kids under 18 are free), standard suite with either 2 queens or 1 king (also a sitting room with a pull out sofa), free breakfast buffet (which is actually a decent one that includes waffle bar, breakfast meats, yogurt, fruit, cereal bar, coffee, tea, juice, the works!), afternoon coffee and cookies, a pool and a warning sign for bears and mountain lions. Please note that you can upgrade your room for additional fees. This hotel is pet friendly with a $10 a night fee for pets. You can add additional adults to these rooms but know that it is a $10 a night fee for each adult over the age of 18. This rate is available for the nights of August 15th and 16th. We have a block of rooms reserved for you and the potential for more rooms if the block fills up. If you go online it will tell you that there is no availability for these dates, so you have to call and tell them you are with us. Ask for the Gagliardo/Rhein wedding party. (Gal-eee-ar-dough/Rhine lol!) If you have any problems at all please don't hesitate to contact either one of us. Any rooms that are not filled by July 15th will be relinquished and returned to the hotel. You will still be able to get those rates after that date, but no guarantees they will have a room available for you. These rooms are filling up fast so if you think you would like to stay here, please contact them as soon as possible. I have included a link to the hotel website.

Next, we will drive down the mountain to the Denver Marriott West in Golden, Colorado. This hotel is closer to the city and right across from Flatiron Crossing Mall. An 11 MINUTE DRIVE to the wedding venue. Another very nice hotel. We have arranged a rate of $149 per night. Again, this rate reflects a standard room and 2 adults. This hotel appears to be more for the business traveler with a separate business/computer center in the lobby. The lobby here is larger, which would be an ideal gathering location if you are coming with a group and want to meet up and mingle. Here, there is both an indoor and an outdoor pool. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer the free continental breakfast buffet. The hotel shuttle is available to take you across the highway to the mall. The city of Golden is a fun little place to explore and the RTD Light Rail (the train that can take you in to Downtown Denver) is not far. The hotel itself is also larger so the chance of filling up is much less. However, as is the norm, our block of rooms will be relinquished on July 24th back to the hotel. You will still be able to get the rate, just no guarantee of availability. The rates are for August 15th and 16th. Please ask for the Gagliardo/Rhein wedding party when booking your reservation. Again, I have included a few helpful links- the hotel and the Flatiron Crossing Mall. (The previous blog post has links to activities in Golden.)

These are our recommendations. We have personally toured these hotels and viewed the rooms and facilities. We would not have signed contracts with these hotels if we would not personally stay here. They are beautiful hotels. We hope these discounted rates are helpful to you. However, there are obviously plenty of hotels around town where you can stay. Downtown Denver has beautiful hotels but they are a bit of a drive to the wedding venue. If you are planning on staying at a hotel not listed here, we are happy to help you. Be careful- even if there is a Golden address, the way the mountain roads are set up you could be staying an hour or more away from the wedding venue!
